Item Description
See Oms passport and visa item #1012. 1" dia. solid silver pendant engraved on both sides. Front has baseball image at top w/text "AVB 1939 Vargas Campeon." Reverse has his name. Oms stint with this Venezuelan team was short but fruitful. In 1939 he only played nine games for Vargas, all of which were during the National Championship series, for which he collected this award as part of the winning team. Exc. w/bright luster. A one of a kind item for this Cuban HOF member. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
