Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains futuristic-designed 9.75" long tin litho "Space Scout" vehicle by Yanoman of Japan. 1950s. Box lid features great illustration of toy and shows moderate wear w/some spots of dust soiling. Lid has slight inward dent, but box remains free of splits. VG overall. Toy features mystery action, front plastic dome flashes red, three-dimensional tin litho gunner w/lighted tin litho/plastic gun moves from side to side. Comes w/separate wire antenna that is mounted in rubber socket by cockpit. This revolves due to rear wheel motion. Antenna is a bit loose in socket but still turns when toy advances. Toy shows lt. scattered wear w/some minor pitting to silver luster tin attachments. Fine overall. Great 1950s space design.
