Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5.75" long (8.75" long counting wire handle) tin litho futuristically-designed wagon. Wagon body is shaped like a rocketship and has rocketship image w/"Flash Strat-O-Wagon" name and Wyandotte mark. Painted pressed metal frame and wheel covers have streamlined Art Deco design. This version of wagon was produced by Wyandotte in 1941 and was first produced as a simple wagon in 1934. Scattered lt. wear w/trace oxidation to wire handle. VF. Box features great illustrations and has "Men Of The Stratosphere" text telling about man's journey to the highest levels of the atmosphere. Box is aged and has some scattered wear but retains its shape and is Fine overall. Scarce w/box.
