Item Description
Art boards range in size from 11.25x12.75” to 11x14-3/8” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed at bottom of images. Art is for Harvey Publications "Sad Sack" consecutive issues #95-98, Aug.-Oct. 1959. Scenes include Sad Sack crawling across desert finding “Off Limits To Enlisted Personnel” sign at waterhole, about to be hosed into open sewer manhole, surfboard riding through Sarge’s fishing boat, being attacked by sawfish while swimming w/Sarge. Muttsy the dog is on two covers. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to Near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
