Item Description
Art boards are each 11-3/8x13.5” w/original pen and ink art by creator George Baker, who has signed at bottom of images. Art is for Harvey Publications "Sad Sack’s Funny Friends" consecutive issues #35-38, Sept. and Nov. 1961, Jan. and March 1962. Scenes include Sad Sack driving motorcycle badly causing sidecar w/General to crash, driving jeep into fire hydrant causing General to get wet, General’s cigar accidently causing Sad Sack’s vacuum cleaner bag to burst, mopping rapidly causing tilting mirror to hit General. Muttsy the dog is on all covers, Sadie is on one cover. A few margin pencil notes. Image areas will mat and frame to Near Exc. appearance. Well drawn and funny.
