Item Description
13x20.5" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for page 20 of Fight Comics #66, published by Fiction House Jan. 1950. Art is by Edmond Good (1910-1991) a Canadian comic artist and writer of more than a dozen comics during the Golden Age of Comics. Page features seven panels from Rip Carson Of Risks, Unlimited storyline and features Rip Carson rescuing man from firing squad and spiriting him away on airplane at gunpoint as Chinese fighter plane gives chase. Top margin has S.M. Iger studio name/address and stamped "Fight" title w/inked issue/page numbers. Top left has faint pencil notations and staple hole. Extensive blue pencil editorial notation throughout art, but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
