Item Description
11x17" Image Comics artboard has pen and ink original art for page 18 of "Supreme" #46, published by Image Feb. 1997. Originally a violent, Superman-like character created by Rob Liefeld, Supreme was retooled by Alan Moore, given a softer edge as a tribute to the Silver Age Superman. Pencils by J. Morrigan w/inks by Norm Rapmund. Page features four panels, including large splash panel at left showing Supreme and Radar finding Suprema (who was introduced this issue) asleep on large bed. Radar (a not so subtle spoof on Krypto) licks her hand to wake her up. Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page numbers as well as Morrigan's name. Rapmund has signed in black ink at upper right. Upper left margin has heavy crease w/surface paper pull on back, but this does not affect front's display that much and art remains Exc. for display purposes.
