Item Description
11x17" Image Comics artboard has pen and ink original art for page 21 of "Supreme" #46, published by Image Feb. 1997. Originally a violent, Superman-like character created by Rob Liefeld, Supreme was retooled by Alan Moore, given a softer edge as a tribute to the Silver Age Superman. Pencils by J. Morrigan w/inks by Norm Rapmund. Page features three panels, including large splash panel at center showing Supreme, Suprema and Radar exiting black hole in space and being confronted by Gorrl, who speaks from a white giant star as "The Living Universe." Top margin has handwritten title and issue/page numbers as well as Morrigan's name. Rapmund has signed in black ink at upper right. Tiny spot of surface paper lift at upper left and two areas of surface paper lifting on back of artboard at top, but this does not affect art, which remains Exc.
