Item Description
15.5x20.25" sheet of vellum has mixed media original art and hand-lettered text. Great design includes image of "Muffets" shredded wheat cereal box w/the five advertised premiums emerging from it as clown at lower left notes "20 Different Circus Action Toys In The Series - Get All Of Them!" This art is for premium that was produced in 1953 as a premium punch-out set that is listed in the American Card Catalog as F279-30C. Blank pricing circle at lower right. Sign has horizontal fold at center and shows obvious wear w/top and lower left corners having large pieces missing (only affecting clown image at lower left) and lower right corner showing moderate wear. Another large piece missing at center right. 1.5" tear and one card per character to form the jointed toy. Lot includes actual cards as issued w/characters shown on sign art and others. Listed in the American Card Catalog as F279-30C. Each is complete and unused, NM file copy. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
