See previous lot, item #2112. This lot of eight prototype patch designs show the concept in development and all designs in this lot are totally different from what is shown on signs/patches of previous lot. Lot includes 9.25x11-7/8" artboard w/black paper overlay (w/handwritten "(Space) Plastic Patches" name on front) w/six original art patch designs on paper that have been cut out and mounted on artboard. These measure between 2.75" dia. and 2-7/8x2-7/8". Art includes - "Rocket Take-Off, Spaceship Squadron, Outer Space Dogfight, Attack On The Space Station, Monster From Mars" and "Outer Space Explorer." All features stunning, fully realized art. Some lt. aging to artboard from glue, but art is clean and Exc. Back has "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker. Comes w/pair of 3" dia. original art patch prototype w/production label backs to be peeled off. Designs are fully realized and include - Flying Saucer" and "Space Man." Art shows some lt. scattered wear, w/"Space Man" having some paperclip rust soiling at top. Fine/VF overall while other is Exc. Unique lot. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
