See previous item #2082 for information about similar 1930s promotion for this company. Lot includes approx. 8.25x11" sheet of vellum w/all mixed media original art for gum wrapper showing image of circus lion tamer and lion (different from previous lot) as well as Beatty portrait and portraits of two roaring tigers. Hand-lettered/painted text at bottom includes "In This Package - A Realistic Clyde Beatty Animal Snapper That Opens And Closes Its Mouth - Lots Of Fun!" Majority of this white text has flaked off, but still legible in reflected light. Sheet has uneven edges as trimmed and is roughly folded into quarters, w/some wear to images/text along fold lines. Fine overall. Comes w/four prototype Animal Snapper premiums, each cut out of thin cardstock and painted on both sides (all original art). These include two different tigers, cow and pig; measuring 3.5" to 5.5" long. Some lt. aging/handling wear but VF overall. An exceptional and totally unique lot for the non-sports collector.
