Item Description
9x12" illustrated envelope featuring discreetly posed nude pin-up contains seven 8.5x11" plates featuring cheesecake art by Frank Cho, a comic strip and comic book writer/illustrator, known for his series "Liberty Meadows," as well as for books such as "Shanna The She-Devil, Mighty Avengers" and "The Totally Awesome Hulk" for Marvel Comics as well as "Jungle Girl" for Dynamite Entertainment. Cho is noted for his figure drawing, precise lines and fondness of depicting dinosaurs, apes and well-endowed women. This is first print released by Insight studios, ©1998 and features Cho's "University Squared" characters, which served as the precursor to his popular "Liberty Meadow" newspaper comic/comic book, even using the same characters for the University of Maryland's Diamondback newspaper. One of the plates is in color while rest are bw and feature Brandy, Dean, Frank and the gang, including some bare-breasted Brandy pin-up images. "No Skinny Dipping" plate has been signed and numbered "954/U²" in pencil by Cho and envelope has been signed in blue ink, Cho added Frank portrait remarque. Envelope has some lt. handling wear and is VF while plates are NM.
