Item Description
11-1/8x14" artboard has pen and ink mixed media original art depicting DC Comics' ghostly avenger Deadman as drawn by Frank Cho, a comic strip and comic book writer/illustrator, known for his series "Liberty Meadows," as well as for books such as "Shanna The She-Devil, Mighty Avengers" and "The Totally Awesome Hulk" for Marvel Comics as well as "Jungle Girl" for Dynamite Entertainment. Cho is noted for his figure drawing, precise lines and fondness of depicting dinosaurs, apes and well-endowed women. Deadman is drawn from the ribs up, a haunted expression on his face. Cho has inked his signature above "©1999" date. "Deadman DM" name at top left in pencil. Lower margin has some residue as removed from sketchbook, o/w art is clean and Exc. Great specialty art image.
