Item Description
6-1/8x19" thin artboard w/India ink original art by "Blondie" creator Chic Young. Art is for April 28, 1950 and features four panels, w/Blondie calling Dagwood at work, asking him to pick up a loaf of bread on the way home. Dagwood makes a note and puts it into his hatband, only to arrive home, forgetting to pick up the bread. Young has signed last panel. Second panel has King Features Syndicate copyright strip. Back has "He's The Staff Of Her Life" title in blue pencil. First through third panels have had paste-overs w/different art by Young. Third and fourth panels have screentone accents that have darkened w/age. Art still displays VF overall.
