Item Description
18.75x24-7/8" Strathmore artboard has pen and ink original art for page 24 of the Jan. 1953 issue of "Four Color" #448 that features "Bob Clampett's Beany And Cecil." Art has eight panels, showing Beany and Cecil w/Captain Huffenpuff as they head to check over the Leakin' Lena, only to be interrupted by Wong, who informs them that the ship is missing. Some scattered blue pencil production notations at left/right margins. Top margin has some scattered moisture staining to top of first panel and at margin of upper right. Bottom left corner also has some moisture staining. Fine overall w/VF art.
