10-3/8x16" thin artboard features artist Alfredo Alcala's pen and ink original art for page 31 of the Feb. 1975 issue of "Man-Thing" #14, published by Marvel Comics. Alcala (1925-2000) was a Filipino comic book artist who worked for both Marvel and DC Comics, providing art for a wide array of titles, some of which included - "Conan The Barbarian, Savage Sword Of Conan, House Of Mystery, House Of Secrets, Weird War Tales" and several others. Five panel page features Maura Spinner in revealing pirate outfit, talking w/the satyr Khordes. Third panel reveals Man-Thing w/Captain Fate. Maura asks to stay w/Khordes and they leave her and Man-Thing w/the satyr. Man-Thing appears in three panels; one w/his back to viewer. Top margin has production notations w/handwritten inked title and issue/page number. .25" tear at top right margin and 1" tear at bottom center. Top/bottom centers have aged strips of tape and top margin has been trimmed, though not affecting art in any way. Fine/VF overall w/Exc. art.
