See previous item #1599. Offered here is the pen and ink original art for three 1941 Sunday pages on approx. 13.75x20" thin artboards. Art for Sept. 14 features Tim and Tommy searching for amulet that lets Tim shrink/grow. They give up, Tommy puts Tim in his shirt pocket and they hitch a ride as a wren spies the amulet in the grass and flies of w/it. Art for following Sunday - Sept. 21 - features wren landing outside birdhouse only to be startled by cat in tree, causing wren to drop amulet where it is found by girl who adds it to her charm bracelet. Last panel shows detail on amulet's text, reading "Nemesis Of All Evil." Art for Nov. 16 shows Tommy and Tim learning of mysterious bank robbery, leading them to conclude someone has found the amulet and is using it for crime. Second half of page shows man disguised as old woman demand access to her safety deposit box, effectively robbing the bank. Each has been signed at top by Link and each has The Chicago Tribune Copyright strip paste-over in bottom panel. Scattered margin aging, o/w art remains clean and Exc. See following item #1601.
