Beginning w/the first printing of Mirage Studios' Raphael #1 micro-series in April, 1985 (and followed closely by the first printing of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #4 in June, 1985) Mirage began using the Southern Dutchess News in Poughkeepsie, NY as the printer for their comic books. Offered here is a 11-1/8x16.5" single-sided ad slick for Southern Dutchess News, featuring Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird art dated 1986 and depicting their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles dressed as barbarian warriors in a fantasy setting w/Dave Sim's Cerebus the Aardvark. Text block at top notes "Offering Full Service For Comic Book Publishers; Full Color Laser Scanned Covers, Black And White Texts, Binding And Distribution To All Major Comic Book Distributors, In All Parts Of The U.S. And Canada."
