Item Description
19.25x29.75" frame w/Plexiglas over archival mat reveals 11x21" mixed media image titled "Jack Davis - 'The Golden Years'" on engraved brass title plate on mat underneath art. Publication this art was done for is unknown, but 1980s. Great scene shows Ronald Reagan seated at center, appearing to be giving an interview, but cameraman is distracted by Princess Diana. Additional images include baseball players, groom carrying bride, astronaut lighting rocket, young boy watching bi-plane, Southern man yelling as dog bites his rear end and pair of bikini-clad woman posing on beach w/muscle-builder as an old woman (who looks very much like "Playboy" magazine's Granny character) thumbs her nose and sticks her tongue out at the youths. Art has been signed in ink by Davis and comes w/4x6" color photo of the artist in his studio holding this original. Image area is bright and NM. Framed and ready for display.
