Item Description
Pair of 11-1/8x17" thin artboards w/original pen and ink art for two different Conan comic books. First is on Marvel Comic artboard for "Conan The Barbarian" #223 from Oct. 1989. Art is for first page and is splash page and shows Conan (in disguise) arriving on horseback to "The Sacred Temple Of Almighty Vajrath" as drawn by Gary Kwapisz and inked by Alfredo Alcala for "The Wheel Of Life And Death" story written by Michael Fleisher. Bottom of page has paste-over Marvel publishing indica. Scattered production notations at margins but art is clean and Exc. Second is four panel page for "Savage Sword Of Conan" #105 published by Marvel in Oct. 1984, for "The Mill" story. Art by Gary Kwapisz and inked by Bob Camp shows snowy Great Northern Steppes scene for three panels, w/last panel showing four soldiers fleeing through the snow. First and second panel have some blue pencil production notations and bottom margin has 7.25" streak of tape staining. Art is o/w clean and Exc.
