11x17" Marvel Comics artboard features artist Kieron Dwyer's original pen and ink art for the first page of the Dec. 1988 issue of "Classic X-Men" #28. Art features two scenes, w/paste-over text credits at center. Top scene features fan favorites Wolverine and Colossus, who struggles to hold open closing Danger Room walls as Wolverine smiles. Bottom scene shows Wolverine smoking cigar and holding his head as he attempts to repair a destroyed control panel. Art was inked by Terry Austin, who has signed his name at lower right. Dwyer has signed to right of text paste-overs, adding "5-16-93" date. Printing centering paste-overs have pieces of clear tape over them. Margins have some production notations and scattered handling wear/dust soiling but art remains clean and Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
