Including duplicates group consists of 35 individual glossy photos intended to be inserted into charms but not done so. With these counting duplicates are 77 finished charms. Three of the unused photos are in blocks of four with unbroken perforations. Each block measure 2x1-7/8". There are also a number of double blocks and then a number of single blocks which are 1x1". The unused photos, some with duplicates and some with a second pose include: Joe Louis, wrestler Don Eagle, Hopalong Cassidy, Randolph Scott, John Wayne, Robin Hood, Gene Autry, Joel McCrae, Perry Como, and four showing Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. All are essentially Mint. The finished charms are about 1" tall. There are both duplicates and multiple poses for some. Beginning with row three totals are: Hopalong Cassidy 5, Starrett 1, John Wayne 2, Gabby Hayes 5, Randolph Scott 3, Roy Rogers 5, Davy Crockett 3, Gene Autry 1, General MacArthur 2, Dagmar 1, Perry Como 1, Don Eagle 1, Bud/Lou 1, Robin Hood 1, Joe Louis 1. The next series are designed like picture frames with loop at top and small prong on back so they can stand up. Among these are Frank Sinatra 4, Errol Flynn 2, six we are unsure of, Judy Garland 2, Jimmy Durante 1, and a couple more we are unsure of. Among the comic characters are SweePea, Flash Gordon, Dale Arden, Phantom's dog and girlfriend, Little Annie Rooney (2), Mama Katzenjammer, Zero (2), Olive Oly, Lone Ranger, Fritz, Hans, Mac and three we aren't sure of. Charms total 77 pieces. Only a couple charms have minor age with vast majority of charms and photos NM to Mint. All c.late 1940s-early 1950s.
