Item Description
23.5x29" (to bottom of fringe trim) silk-screened fabric banner w/wooden dowel rod through sleeve at top, capped by brass endcaps. 1932, released for the bicentennial of President George Washington's birth. Banner features great large color image of Washington at center w/"200th Anniversary" text above and "George Washington" name below. The first President is flanked by "1732" and "1932" dates. Scattered aging (mainly at lower left) but still displays Exc. overall and much larger and nicer than the banners typically found for this event. Great display piece.
