Item Description
All are from 1930 w/India art on thin art boards complete w/Chicago Tribune copyright pasted strips. Each has 5.75x19.75" image area. One has three panels, rest have four panels. Dates are March 3, 4, 26 and May 22 and 24. Winnie is in all 19 panels w/storyline involving Marty Mulligan. All have pencil caption at top and are boldly signed “Branner” in last panel. Lt. dust soil here and there. Overall Fine/VF. Prime examples of the first comic strip to revolve around a woman w/her own career.
