Item Description
8x10" thin board w/fully painted art which is signed at lower left "Jorge S." Great action image of Castillo in his Almendares Scorpions uniform about to swing at a pitch. Behind him the stands are packed with spectators. Top right has title w/his name and "Infielder". Below this is Scorpions pennant. Castillo played for a number of different Cuban League teams from 1902-1914 and was inducted into the Cuban Baseball HOF in 1943. Exc. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
