Item Description
11.5x16.5" thin artboard has original pen and ink art by Jim Mooney (w/inks by Mike Esposito) for page 3 of "The Game Of The Grandmaster" story for the Nov. 1981 issue #80 of "The Electric Company Magazine" which was published in conjunction w/the popular children's TV show. Five panel page features Spider-Man in each panel (small shadowed silhouette in one), showing him swinging after Mary Jane, only to be sucked up by a large spaceship, which is revealed in the last panel to be the ship of Marvel cosmic being The Grandmaster. Artboard has pencil editorial notes at top along w/pinholes, but art remains clean and is Exc. overall.
