Original cardboard w/full color, illustrated lid contains 7.25" tall celluloid toy w/built-in key on back and long wire metal tail. Raised "Made In Japan" text on Mickey's back along w/Disney copyright. 1930s. Mickey is designed w/arms jointed at shoulder and attached by elastic string. Toy works and his legs move back and forth rapidly as his body rambles about. When stationary, his tail serves as a prop to keep him upright for display. Toy is in choice, Exc./NM condition and is as nice as they come. Box lid features nice large image of Mickey on main panel w/side panel having total of six smaller (three different designs) Mickey images. One side panel has 1x1" triangular piece missing but box remains Fine for display. Few boxed examples of this toy are known to exist.
