c. 1950s design for point of purchase display that was never produced. 11x15.25” art board has tempera art and hand lettered text promoting “3rd Dimension Pictures”. Sign has three actual example 3D pictures applied, all else is original art. Lower right has example cereal box art w/boy and girl looking at pictures through “Junior Viewer Packed In This Package!” Lower left has applied thin art board “Take Out” pocket design for viewer. Text at top mentions “Post’s Toasties”. Top area has glue stains from three missing 3D pictures, a few lead pencil notes here and there as done in editorial process, minor corner tip bumps. Still bright and VG/Fine overall. Nice design. Unique. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold, accompanied by a letter to that effect from Gordon Gold.
