Item Description
23.5x29” thin art board has 19.75x23.5” India ink image area w/one small and 12 large panels for April 17. Six panels include Tracy and Sam w/Diet Smith observing a corpse murdered in outer space and returned by the Space Coupe. Next seven panels have villains Mr. Bribery and Ugly Christine discussing their cigar smoking cat’s tobacco breath. Storyline had dope smuggler Bribery, who decapitated people and shrunk their heads, responsible for the corpse in this sequence. Top “Crimestoppers Textbook” defends policemen accused of brutality. Cartoonist-creator “Chester Gould” signature in last panel. Complete w/ Chicago Tribune copyright sticker. Logo is a pasted up photostat w/minor aging, page consists of two art boards joined together between top and bottom tiers as done by artist. Will mat and frame to Near Exc. appearance. Terrific example w/major characters.
