Item Description
Art is from "Felix The Cat" #29 published in 1952 by Toby Press. Each page is 15x22" with 12x18" India ink image area. Five consecutive pages have storyline with Felix being impressed watching a cowboy TV show and deciding to become a cowboy. He gets dressed up and jumps on a dog to learn to ride. The dog loses Felix by running through a tunnel and they become friends. Felix then goes to a rodeo and puts glue on the back of his chaps and wins a broncho riding contest. Last page has Felix on horse rapidly riding out in the country past sign "All Points West". Trace of whiteout here and there as done by the artist, one word balloon on first page is a neat paste up done by the artist. Image area on all five pages will mat and frame to Exc. appearance. Classic Otto Messmer art with Felix prominently shown on every page drawn by his creator.
