Item Description
Lot of two both c. 1970. The original "Electric Factory" venue was a converted tire warehouse at 22nd and Arch Streets, which opened in 1968. The first performers, on February 2, 1968, were the Chambers Brothers. The building closed in 1973, and was eventually torn down and replaced with condominiums. The button is 1.25" dia. w/black design on day-glo pink bkg. and features Ben Franklin image w/logo design that includes and electric cord. Rim nick at 8 o'clock but glossy and VF. Cardboard poster is 13.25x20.5". Text in part reads "The Center For Human Expression Presents: A Child's Festival At The Factory-A Folk And Film Experience Starring Jacky Pack And Her Guitar/Gloria Hayes And Her Puppets...Disney's Alice In Wonderland At The Electric Factory." Lt. edge wear but bright and vibrant. VF. A scarce pair for this legendary east coast venue.
