Item Description
13.5x22" great "Who - Tommy" related silver accent card stock poster for event held at Ford Auditorium August 31 through September 5 in Detroit. Wonderful graphics featur the pinball wizard himself in center with psychedelic design of two full figure nudes with flowing hair at each side. Text at top "WCAR Presents The First Great Rock Dance Spectacular". Bold title text just below center is ballet company's name "Les Grands Ballets Canadiens". Portion of blank reverse side has four reverse imprints for handbills which feature same design as poster. The famous ballet troupe which put on this show was founded in 1957 and is now 50+ years old and still going strong exploring new territory for dance lovers near and far. Poster has lt. impression at top margin edge from clear tape removal and has one pinhole which is barely noticeable in one letter of text. Lower right corner has faint 1.25" diagonal crease. Still bright and Fine. A striking design.
