Item Description
c.1940s. (See previous item Grand Rapids Chicks signed bat #1294). Each is 5x7 1/8" glossy with pencil on reverse side noting who is shown in photo along with “Spielmacher Photos” ink credit stamp. Includes 16 members in uniforms posing for photo on steps, six members in uniform in dugout with hands over heart during Star Spangled Banner being played, Connie Wisniewski pitching, center fielder and side arm pitcher Pat Keagle in closeup poses and field action shots. A few barely noticeable lt. handling creases, otherwise group is VF/Exc. A great mix of images. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
