Item Description
2-3/8x6.75" silk ribbon from his 1852 campaign reading "Scott Legion." This is the example shown in Hake Political Buttons Book III 1789-1916 as Scott #3011. Fabric has a few light crease lines, minimal scattered tan tones, and a few pinpoint darker dots at bottom left. Top edge of fabric is a trifle uneven and bottom right corner has .75" sliver turned under. A Fine example of a rarely seen and even more rarely offered ribbon. One of only seven Scott ribbons listed (but not shown) in the Sullivan/Fischer reference on campaign ribbons.
