Item Description
3-1/16x4-5/16" stiff card has slightly raised images and text to show the incredible quality printing by "Western Bank Note And Engraving Company/Western Division - American Bank Note Company/Chicago." Front jugate for Taft/Sherman and Teddy Roosevelt/Hiram W. Johnson flank the larger center jugate of Wilson/Marshall dated for election day and reading "November 5th 1912/Elected/President/Vice President/Of The United States Of America." Card reverse has small caption "Engraved In The Year 1840" and shows images of Washington, Jefferson, and seals of thirteen colonies surrounding incredibly tiny text of "Declaration of Independence" which requires a magnifying glass to read, but with precise tiny detail that includes "Engraved By C. Toppan Phila July 4, 1840." Tiny dust soil trace and barely noticeable corner tip wear. Displays Exc. Quite unusual and rare.
