Item Description
5.5x8.5" sheet has wonderful marker self-caricature original art with George Clayton Johnson saying "Ray Bradbury!" surrounded by numerous word balloons with names of other guests for that year's convention. Includes Stan Lee, Will Eisner, Robert Bloch, George Pal, June Foray, Don Rico, Milt Gray, Daws Butler, and Kirk Alyn. A few other word balloons have question marks in them and Clayton has also written "Hurray For The San Diego Comic Con" at the lower left and signed the art at right "George Clayton Johnson ©1975". Paper sheet was glued in place to piece of card stock and glue has yellowed a bit with age. Good/VG overall. Johnson co-wrote the novel Logan's Run with William F. Nolan, eight episodes of the Twilight Zone in the early 1960s, and the first aired episode of Star Trek in 1966. Unique item noting George Clayton Johnson's love of comic books and science fiction.
