Item Description
When it comes to good comic covers, there is nothing like a gorilla wearing a human mask to peak a reader’s interest. Collectors who are looking for every gorilla cover ever published consider this issue an insider’s secret. The cover art is by John Guinta. The Mad Hatter was an attorney who craved adventure. With his superb athletic ability and his signal hat, he took on crime bosses. O.W. Publishing was a very short-lived house that was comprised of two comic veterans, William Woolfolk and John Oxton. Woolfolk had worked for MLJ and Fawcett. The series lasted two issues. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified 9.2 (NM-). According to the CGC Census, this copy is tied with one other as the second highest graded copy they have seen.
