16-3/8x23.5" newsprint printed on one side issued by U.S. Office Of Civilian Defense Fiorello H. LaGuardia Director Washington DC. Has six numbered images, titles include "Keep Cool, Stay Home, Put Out Lights, Lie Down, Stay Away From Windows, You Can Help". Last panel is signed by Caniff with art of Uncle Sam rolling up his sleeves with Civilian Defense workers in foreground. Posters went in packets of air observers and was meant to be posted in offices, schools, etc. Faint horizontal fold through center, otherwise near Exc. appearance. Nice art by the noted cartoonist of Dickie Dare, Terry And The Pirates, and Steve Canyon.
