Item Description
All are c. late 1930s. Three thin art boards ranging in size from 7x8.25" to 8-7/8x15" feature India ink scenes with planes in action. Includes plane diving with another flying nearby, seaplane firing on Nazi seaplane while dropping bomb towards ship below, and art board with double illustration showing five planes in combat dogfight. Each original is signed in ink A. McWilliams. Art has trace of lt. dust soil, second art board has 1" horizontal tear at right side edge repaired on reverse with archival tape, third art board has vertical fold though center affecting left side of illustration area at right. First two art boards are Fine/VF, third is VG. All are very well drawn. None of these are in any of the Flying Aces magazines lot # 2071.
