Item Description
16” long tin sax with 8 keys and wood mouthpiece. One side has 2” tall decal of Mickey playing a sax. Comes in box which has paper label on one end featuring this same image along with 1934 copyright and name of distributor “Borgfeldt.” Made by Czechoslovakian company “Haro.” They produced a series of Disney toy instruments, all of which are rare. Box features image of sax on lid, sides feature children dancing and playing instruments in addition to the Mickey label on one side. Right side panel is a color copy, box has restoration and interior reinforcement, box bottom is a nicely crafted replacement. Box as is just comes along but is the only example we have seen in our 44 years. Sax has scattered small trace of gold paint wear, decal remains near 100%. Couple of tiny indents. Fine.
