Early 1940s published by Metropolitan Museum of Art. Lithographed by Einson-Freeman Co., Inc. Portfolio is 14x17” stiff paper with text introduction on inside front cover by director of museum. Portfolio holds 8 posters on high quality paper. Each poster is 13.5x16.5” with text at top in Russian and text at bottom in English. Graphic images include Russian soldier with machine gun chasing Hitler and generals, Hitler directing troops who transform into swastikas and then crosses, Nazi soldier taking boots from murdered child, woman prisoner of war carrying dead child with title “Warrior Avenge!,” Hitler as ringmaster directing cartoonish images of his henchmen and striking image of 3 spears with flags of allies US, Britain and Russia attacking Nazi wolf. Cover has lt. dust soil and lt. handling creases with a few tiny tears here and there along margin edges. Fine. Posters have lt. handling creases. Fine/VF. Wonderful design with incredible graphics.
