Beautifully shaded bw 1-3/8" button without dot pattern of him in floral motif buckskin jacket. Text below "Copyright/Col. W.F. Cody/Buffalo Bill." Condition is Exc. and displays Mint. We've seen 2 examples of a 1.5" size which had no backpaper. This 1/8" smaller size does have a backpaper with center text "Buffalo/Bill's Wild West/And Congress Of/Rough Riders Of/The World." Surrounding text names maker as "Merchants' Portrait Co. Kentish Town Road, London, N.W." Comes with Hake's COA, a GEM.
