Item Description
10.5x15.75" comic art board contains original art for Marvel Premiere issue #32 page 22. This issue was the try-out for the character Monark Starstalker and his robotic falcon, Ulysses. (Marvel, October 1976). Art and story by Howard Chaykin. Seven panel page shows Bounty Hunter Monark Starstalker in pursuit of Kurt Hammer who had just shot a man and kidnapped a girl, Brigid Siebold. Their vehicle breaks down and they're on foot in the remaining panels. Kurt lies in wait to ambush Starstalker. Page has lt. aging/wear, one trimmed corner, aged tape marks at top and bottom. Marvel © stamp on back. Heavy black inks bleed through to back of board. Zip-a-tone has tanned with age. Signed at lower right by Chaykin. VF.
