Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art for page 27 of Catwoman Vol. 2 #25, published Oct. 1995 by DC Comics. Art is by Jim Balent and has been inked by Dick Giordano (1932-2010) and is an action-packed splash page (literally!) featuring Catwoman and Robin (Tim Drake) leaping out of the way of a Mustang that crashes through ceiling, the Psyba-Rats falling w/it. Top margin has stamped title w/inked issue/page numbers. Bottom margin has been signed at right in black felt tip pen by Giordano. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Artboard shows some lt. corner tip wear but art remains clean and Exc. While Balent worked on 70+ issues of Catwoman, very little of his original art has come to market, let alone an example of this caliber.
