Item Description
17-5/8x18-5/8" frame w/vintage Courvoisier mat w/7.5x9.25" opening revealing hand-inked and painted acetate animation production cel featuring image of forest animals - three rabbits, five chipmunks and a squirrel - running. Used in production of the 1937 Disney animated feature Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs. Cel comes w/period custom Courvoisier-provided painted bkg. though this mushroom house didn't appear in Snow White. Back of frame has original Courvoisier and vintage gallery labels mounted in place. Cel bkg. has some scattered aging but cel remains Exc. and makes for nice framed display.
