Item Description
10x14-3/8" thin artboard has mixed media original art by prolific and renowned Spanish Marvel Comics cover artist Rafael López Espí. Cover is for the Escalofrio Presenta: La Tumba De Dracula Vol. 2 #2, which reprints Tomb of Dracula Vol. 1 #4 Sept. 1972 and was originally drawn by Gene Colan/Tom Palmer. All Dracula story content in issue. Cover story The Bride of Dracula. Published in Spain by Mundi in 1981, ©1972 Marvel Comics Group. Artboard has been hand-painted w/image size of 6x8.5" 10x14" artboard has large blue border that is painted edge to edge w/art showing Dracula's Bride transforming from a bat as Dracula menaces a pair of victims, recreation of Marvel's cover art by Gene Colan. Back of artboard has handwritten "Escalofrio 2" at top in pencil. Art remains bright, clean and Exc.
