Item Description
1-1/8x17-1/8" artboard features pen and ink original art (w/screentone accents) by John Buscema (1927-2002) w/inks by Tony DeZuniga for page 48 of same issue as previous item. Page features five panels and shows Conan the Barbarian emerging from waterfall, much to the surprise of group of men fleeing vampires. Conan makes a hasty retreat as the men shoot arrows at him. Great action page. Conan appears in three panels. Top margin has penciled title abbreviation, issue/page numbers and inkstamp printer notation. Brief action synopsis in pencil at top/bottom margins w/some additional editorial notations at bottom left. Back has Marvel copyright stamp and title inkstamps. Screentone accents have evenly aged and third panel's screentone shows some wear. Top margin of artboard has been attached to larger 13.5x21-1/8" board (which could be easily removed if so desired). Art remains clean and VF.
