Item Description
11-1/8x17-1/8" artboard features pen and ink original art (w/screentone accents) by John Buscema (1927-2002) w/inks by Tony DeZuniga for page 47 of Savage Sword Of Conan #38, published by Marvel March 1979. Page features five panels and shows Conan the Barbarian pursuing group of vampire creatures who are chasing men through cave. Great action page features Conan swinging his sword through the crowd. Conan appears in three panels. Top margin has penciled title abbreviation, issue/page numbers and inkstamp printer notation. Brief action synopsis in pencil at top/bottom margins. Back has Marvel copyright stamp and title inkstamps. Fourth panel has evenly aged screentone and top margin of artboard has been attached to larger 13.75x21-1/8" board (which could be easily removed if so desired). Art remains clean and Exc.
