Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art by Octavio Carriello, inked by Fred Fredericks for Black Lightning Vol. 2 #8, published by DC Comics Sept. 1995. Page 14 features five panels, showing Black Lightning battling the shapeshifter Ishmael, who was hired by Tobias Whale. Black Lightning is seen in three panels. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Top/bottom center margins have thin strip of aged tape, which does not affect art. Back has DC copyright stamp and has been signed by both Carriello and Fredericks. All text (captions and dialogue) are stat paste-overs. Some lt. corner tip wear and scattered glue staining but overall art remains clean and VF/Exc.
