Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard features pen and ink original art by Octavio Carriello, inked by Fred Fredericks for Black Lightning Vol. 2 #8, published by DC Comics Sept. 1995. Page 15 features six panels, showing Carlos Arredondo shooting the shapeshifter Ishmael, who has captured Gangbuster (Jose Delgado), forming parts of himself to look like Gangbuster. The actual Gangbuster appears in four panels. Top margin has inked title and issue/page numbers. Top/bottom center margins have thin strip of aged tape, which does not affect art (bottom tape has thin piece overlapping art, not distracting). Back has DC copyright stamp and has been signed by both Carriello and Fredericks. All text (captions and dialogue) are stat paste-overs. Some corner tip wear and scattered glue staining but overall art remains clean and VF/Exc.
